The Dual Yellow Laser is a safe and effective way to treat delicate conditions such as melasma, acne scars, certain types of pigment and vascular blemishes. It also helps to lighten dark eye circles and reduce redness in acne-prone skin.
How does Yellow Laser work?
The wavelengths emitted by the Norseld Dual Yellow Laser are selectively absorbed by the target chromophores in the skin, such as haemoglobin (blood in vessels) and melanin (pigment). This makes it effective for treating various pigmentation issues such as sunspots, age spots, freckles, melasma, dark eye circles, active acne and acne red marks. The laser energy is absorbed by the melanin in the skin, leading to fragmentation and dispersion of the pigment, resulting in a more even skin tone and reduction in pigmentation irregularities.

FAQs
1 to 2 weeks
While patients may see visible results 1 to 2 weeks after their first treatment, some treatments may require multiple treatment sessions over several months for the best results. Our doctor will be better able to advise you during a consultation.
Many patients have multiple skin concerns, and it is not uncommon for doctors to combine several laser treatments when constructing a comprehensive treatment plan for you. If you are unsure of which laser skin treatments are suitable for you, we highly recommend that you speak to our doctors, who can assess your skin condition and advise accordingly during a consultation.
For complementary treatments that help speed up recovery, we highly recommend our LED light therapy / LDM / Exosomes to accentuate the benefits of your laser treatment.
It is important to avoid unnecessary sun exposure and be adequately protected with a broad-spectrum sunscreen of SPF 50 or more to protect your skin post-procedure. When outdoors under direct sunlight, the use of sunglasses, an umbrella or a wide-brimmed hat should be considered for added protection.
Our doctors will review and assess your usual skincare regimen. Following treatment, harsh ingredients such as retinol and acidic products such as AHAs and BHAs, commonly found in many anti-ageing products, should be laid off for at least a week. Your skin may feel drier than usual. Keep it well hydrated at all times with a good moisturiser. If you are using products to tone down the redness, opt for non-comedogenic mineral makeup, which will allow your skin to breathe and prevent pores from clogging during the healing phase.
