Microneedling RF is suitable for individuals looking to improve the quality and appearance of their skin. It is ideal for those seeking to address signs of aging, scarring, or uneven skin texture, as well as individuals interested in preventive skincare measures to maintain a youthful complexion. We would avoid doing microneedling RF in people with active skin infections, poorly controlled eczema or psoriasis, history of keloid or hypertrophic scarring, using blood-thinning medications or certain medical conditions that may increase the risk of bleeding or bruising or have presence of metal implants or devices near the treatment area.
Exosomes therapy has not been evaluated sufficiently in pregnant and breastfeeding individuals and as such we would recommend doing this treatment at a later date. Our doctors will be best able to assess your suitability.
Exosomes, in a nutshell, are messenger cells or small carriers that “wake up” your innate source of stem cells to regenerate and rejuvenate. Exosomes call our own “lego blocks” to wake up and start working. They contain bits of genetic material, proteins and lipids and possess a specific phospholipid bilayer that enables seamless fusion with recipient cells.
Numbing cream will be applied before the treatment. During the treatment, various methods of distraction will be employed as well. The combination of these steps ensures a comfortable experience with minimal discomfort. With the help of the healing prowess of Exosomes, there is minimal to no downtime. If there is any redness, it self-resolves after a few hours, and patients are able to resume normal activities immediately.
Immediately after the treatment, you will feel there would be some immediate tightening. The skin will appear more taut and lifted. Over the next few days, the brightening and skin glow will start to kick in. Over the weeks, as collagen starts to form, skin textural improvements will show. These continue on over the next few months.
Most clients resume normal daily activities right after. It is important to avoid intense sun and use a broad spectrum sunblock that is at least SPF50. Use a gentle soothing cleanser. Acidic products such as AHA, BHA, Vitamin A and C, retinoids and harsh products should be avoided for at least 3-4 days. Do continue to hydrate your skin with a light soothing moisturizer.
