PDO100

Treatment duration, pain notes and downtimes

Many of the other biostimulators may not be suitable to be used around the eyes as there could be a risk of lumps and nodules forming. Also, the manufacturer is able to make the particles of PDO smooth, round and even. Thus the collagen stimulation reaction can be thought of as subtle/gentle, but still is able to produce significant results.
PDO100 and PDO200 are most commonly used for the face but they can also be effectively applied to help revitalise the neck, décolletage, and hands. The neck especially is an oft-neglected body part that is becoming an increasing popular area to treat with a bio-remodelling substance due to its ability to help reduce crepe-like skin and sagginess for a firmer, and more youthful looking appearance.

For 24 hours, avoid excessive sun exposure, strenuous physical activity, extreme temperatures and swimming. Avoid alcohol consumption for 72 hours. Keep your face clean. Avoid sleeping face down for the same night as the injection. If there is bruising and swelling, topical ice packs may be applied.

Soreness, swelling and redness may occur. Rarely, lumps or nodules may form after the injection. Just with any filler or biostimulator, there is a very small risk of vascular occlusion if the filler is accidentally injected into a blood vessel.
