Why choose Ultherapy Prime?
It is a U.S FDA-cleared ultrasound treatment machine. It allows personalised treatment at 3 depths to target and deliver energy to specific tissue layers. Able to achieve optimal temperatures of 60-70°C for collagen contraction and denaturation. By using Micro-Focused Ultrasound with Real-Time Visualisation (MFU-V) technology, Ultherapy Prime is able to produce results similar to a modern facelift.
Why choose Ultherapy Prime with Freia?
All of the doctors here at Freia are well-versed and well-trained in Ulthera. We use a specific treatment protocol known as SPT which is “See, Plan, and Treat”. Before we begin the procedure, we would scan your surface of the skin and plan out exactly where we are going to shoot at what particular depth and this enables us to have effective and safe treatment. One other reason why you should do Ultherapy at Freia is because we have the Ulthera Prime machine. This machine is the updated version of the Ulthera treatment and it is a little bit faster, and the processor is better. The Ultrasound also refreshes at a higher rate enabling us to be more accurate and faster with the treatment as well.
Is Ultherapy Prime safe?
It’s a very safe procedure and it’s been done for over a decade already. In addition to that, there’s also real-time imaging which is improved with the upgraded Ultherapy Prime. This enables us to be, as mentioned, more accurate, and more effective for the treatment.
Can Ultherapy Prime be used on patients who are taking certain medications, such as blood thinners or corticosteroids, without compromising treatment safety or efficacy?
Ultherapy PRIME utilizes medical grade ultrasound without the use of injectables nor breaching of skin surface. As such, patients on blood thinners or corticosteroids need not stop their long term medications pre or post treatment.
Can Ultherapy Prime be safely used for delicate areas like the under-eye region, or are there limitations to its use in such sensitive areas?
Ultherapy PRIME comes with a 1.5mm transducer which is an excellent option to treat thinner and more delicate skin such as the under eye, brow bone and forehead. By stimulating collagen remodeling and regeneration, it’ll improve on the texture and tone of crepey under eye skin, rendering reduced visibility of periorbital wrinkles and fine lines.
How does Ultherapy Prime affect people with acne-prone skin or those with a history of acne or active breakouts?
Ultherapy PRIME is primarily a deep tissue and skin tightening treatment that deals with the architectural aspect of skin. It has no bearing on the outcome of acne.
What measures are in place to ensure that Ultherapy Prime does not cause hyperpigmentation or other pigmentation irregularities in darker skin types?
Ultherapy PRIME is a “color blind” treatment if done properly and is thus suitable for patients with darker skin types. It does not pose a risk for hyperpigmentation nor worsening of pigmentation problems such as melasma unless a burn is inflicted by improper treatment technique which is a human error, not machine based.
Does Ultherapy Prime work on areas with extreme skin laxity, such as post-weight loss skin, or is it more suited for mild to moderate sagging?
Ultherapy PRIME does work on all areas of facial sagginess but the results will probably be suboptimal if there’s extreme laxity. It is really a treatment plan that is tailored to suit each individual’s specific needs and it’ll be best to consult with your attending physician to see if your expectations can be met by this non invasive aesthetic treatment if there are surgical options you might wish to consider for a more optimal outcome.
