What Is Coolsculpting?

For those of us who already have quite an active and healthy lifestyle, we may still find that there are certain fat bulges that refuse to respond to our best efforts at diet or exercise. The notion of undergoing liposuction may be a bit too overwhelming too. Thankfully, there is now a great alternative to surgery as a means to reduce unwanted fat bulges. We call it Coolsculpting. The process is known as Cryolipolysis, which translated simply means to freeze away the fat.

A brilliant idea that was made a reality by the manufacturers of Coolsculpting. This machine uses a proprietary cooling technique to bring skin and fat temperature down to near zero degrees celcius, without causing any harm to the skin or surrounding structures. In other words, it targets fat cells specifically in a procedure performed, usually, by a doctor. As the temperature of the fatty tissue drops down to near zero, they crystallize and literally freeze up. What this means to you, is that the fat cells will die off in the next few weeks and be flushed out of your body.

It is a painless process. All you have to do is sit back and relax. The nurse and doctor will determine the area to be treated. The next step is to place the applicator directly onto the treated area. Then begins the cool process of Cryolipolysis. All you will feel is some suction on the skin. It will take one hour per area to be treated. As mentioned, the process is painless, without any injections or medication. Before you know it, the Cryolipolysis is completed and you can move on to have another area treated if you like.

Imagine that you can literally read a magazine and lose your love handles. Now you can. This process is US FDA approved for fat clearance up to 22% reduction with a single session. Some reports give even better results of up to 25% fat reduction. Coolsculpting is the new cool way to lose unwanted fat, without the risks and pain associated with traditional forms of slimming.
